Since the University is providing bad wifi services, most of the students applied for broadbands in order to online in their rooms. Especially after the Potong Session, many new p1 user started to appear. P1 users will have a modem which comes with a wireless adapter after they applied for packages. For some people, they tried to hack into other’s P1 network and get internet access for free.

In this post, I’m not going to teach you how to hack into those P1 networks, but I will be giving you hints on how to hack into P1 networks. As you can see in the image, the red frame with weird combination of numbers and alphabets are actually the default network names for P1’s wireless adapter which comes with the modem. By default, the WEP passwords are actually almost the same as the network names. For example, 0810DE network, the pass will be 810DEXXXXX, the XXXXX will be the thing you need to add in at the back. I won’t reveal what’s the thing to add but it’s the same for all P1 default passwords.

Anyway, you can also hack into home networks if they are using wireless modems. Some of the users do not know how to change the passwords for the modem leaving the default name and password there. Therefore, if you see some names like within the orange frame, you can enter into their network using default passwords of different brands.

Actually, I’m not teaching you how to hack into networks but trying to give awareness. Users should try to configure their networks and change their default passwords. If you do not know how, try to lookup to the manual book. If it’s gone, you can always lookup onto the internet for info. Good luck!
